what we do
The Office of Assessment and Planning supports the academic mission of Southern Connecticut State University by promoting the improvement of teaching and learning through:
- training and technical assistance on assessment of student learning, academic program review, and accreditation;
- assisting academic units with data gathering and analysis to inform decision-making;
- coordinating university-wide assessment and accreditation efforts; and
- preparing reports for external constituencies regarding assessment and accreditation
at the request of the provost.
