At the event, students were given graduation sashes bearing the flag of the country in which they studied. The event has grown tremendously in recent years, a sign that Southern is fulfilling its obligation to give local students a global education!

The Spring 2013 Summer Abroad Scholarship Award Ceremony celebrated forty scholarships granted to qualifying summer program abroad participants by the Cubeta Memorial Foundation, the Student Government Association, and the Aldo DeDominicis Foundation.  The OIE is incredibly grateful for the support of these donors, as many of our students would otherwise be unable to participate in these truly life-changing programs.
