Internship

 School candid

If you are an Art student seeking to complete an internship (ART 497) during the Spring 2014 or Fall 2014 semester, please consult the Internship Guide. Please read through the guide carefully.

Once you have secured an internship, download the Internship Application Form, complete it in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat Pro, and then print it.  Ask your internship supervisor (at the provider's location) to sign the form. Then present it to Elena Grossman, Internship Coordinator in EA 216C, and to the Art Department Chair in EA 111A for departmental signatures. When the form is completed and signed, take it to the office of the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences in EN A112. Please remember that you cannot receive credit for an internship unless it is pre-approved by the Art Department and the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences.

Once the Dean's office approves your internship, they will notify the Registrar, who will add the class to your schedule. Note that you cannot register directly for ART 497.

For more information about internships in studio art, please see the Undergraduate Catalog.  If you have additional questions, please contact Elena Grossman, Internship Coordinator.
