The Earth Science Department maintains weather data and air quality monitoring systems located on the roof of Morrill Hall. The weather data system is comprised of a datalogger and sensors from Campbell Scientific. It has a full range of meteorological sensors (pressure, temperature, wind speed and direction, solar radiation) that are recorded continuously. The data collected are accessible via the web at the following address:
Air Quality is monitored by a Perkin-Elmer ELM Air quality monitoring system which houses six discrete sensors and can measure temperature, nitrogen dioxide, ozone, organic compounds, particulates, noise, and humidity. Data are collected continuously and are accessible via the web at the following address.
