University to open at 10 a.m. on Wednesday (Jan. 28)
The University will have a delayed opening at 10 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 28) for students,
faculty and non-essential staff.
Residential students who went home before the storm are now free to return to their
residence halls. Please check the driving conditions in your area if you plan to come
back to campus today.
Food service in Connecticut Hall will be available till 8 p.m. today and then resume
regular hours at 7 a.m. tomorrow. In the Adanti Student Center, Dunkin Donuts will
open at 9 a.m. Wednesday, with lunch service starting at 10:30 a.m.
If you are a student interested in applying for admission into a graduate program
and are unsure of where to start, take note that on occasion, Dr. Jackson will offer
a workshop on applying to graduate school. Keep your eyes open for these announcements.
While the workshops are often done in conjunction with the undergraduate sociology
clubs for the benefit of Sociology majors, the information contained can be used when
applying to programs in other disciplines. If you require additional information about
a particular program of study, contact your academic advisor for more information.
