The Republican-American and Sunday Republican seek Summer 2018 news interns. We’re a mid-sized paper that punches above our weight -- 2017 News England Newspaper & Press Association's Sunday Newspaper of the Year -- and we seek interns with the same drive and ambition.

These paid internships run 10 weeks: Bring your desire to learn how to report accurate, engaging journalism on multiple news platforms. We treat our interns as staffers and help them climb as high as they are able. They live up to a high bar: Past rep-am interns have carried front pages, produced double-truck special projects, scooped the pros and built portfolios worthy of any first-year reporter looking to stand out in the field. Requirements: car, car insurance, mobile phone with camera and/or camera equipment, a desire to learn and to work hard. You'll need to find a place to live. Reporters or photographers welcome to apply to these news/GA internships. Sorry, no features only or sports.
