Application and Admission
Candidates for admission must have completed an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university. Applications are to be submitted the Office of Graduate Studies. All application materials must be completed before the application will be reviewed. The university requires an undergraduate quality point ratio (QPR) of 3.0 as minimum standard of acceptance.
Following review of the completed application, the candidate maybe invited for a personal interview with the MFT Admissions Committee. Upon acceptance an individualized program of study will be designed for each student.
The program is accredited by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy's Commission on Accreditation of Marriage and Family Therapy Education and meets the requirements for a licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist as mandated by the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health.
