The admission process is a collaborative effort between the office of undergraduate admission and the office of international education. International new student information

New Student Applicants are students who are in the process of completing secondary/high school or who have never attended a post-secondary college/university.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

The application process for international students is timely. It is highly recommended that you begin five months prior to the start of the semester you wish to attend. Please note that the fall semester begins late-August and the spring semester mid-January. Below is a checklist of application requirements:

Online application: This includes a 500 word personal essay and a $50 application fee (payment is made by credit card - American Express, Discover, and Master Card)

Official secondary/high school records: Must be original copies

Document-by-document evaluation of high school record: Evaluation agency must be a member of NACES. For questions about the evaluation process, please contact the agency directly. If your transcript is in English, and evaluation is still required to determine grade equivalency.

Proof of English proficiency: TOEFL, IELTS, Certificate of completion from ELS Academic English Level 112, SAT, or ACT

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER STUDENT INFORMATION

Transfer student applicants are those who have attended a college/university.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Online application: You are not required to write a personal essay, so when you have reached that component of the application, please just write "I am a transfer student." The application includes a $50 application fee (payment is made by credit card - American Express, Discover, and Master Card)

All official college/university records: Must be original copies

Proof of secondary/high school completion: If not in English, you must include an English translation

Proof of English proficiency (waived if English is official language of country of origin): TOEFL, IELTS, Certificate of completion from ELS Academic English Level 112, SAT, or ACT
