Assistant Manager of Internet Services

Seeking an individual to develop and maintain the University website. The chosen candidate will assist in creating and maintaining administrative and academic department web pages and other University websites as appropriate. He/she may supervise professional and/or support staff, while serving as the Office of Public Affairs' website information manager and database specialist. Will advise department web managers regarding web initiatives, standards and implementation procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with University web standards.

Minimum qualifications: bachelor's degree in Communication, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent, and at least three years' experience in design, development, and management of websites. Strong technical knowledge of HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL required. Thorough understanding of mobile web design standards and Internet browser compatibility. Advanced knowledge and demonstrated experience with jQuery, database management systems, and web APIs. Excellent instructional, communication, management and organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
