Equal Opportunity and Diversity Data Analyst
The Office Diversity and Equity Programs (ODE) seeks candidates for an Equal Opportunity and Diversity Data Analyst. The Analyst will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and disseminating EEO, Affirmative Action, and diversity metrics analyses and reports. The Analyst will report to the Director, Diversity and Equity Programs.
Compiles and analyzes statistical affirmative action data; develops and implements affirmative action plans; develops and/or revises equal employment opportunity procedures; may assist in development of equal employment opportunity policy; may assist in monitoring agency compliance with State of Connecticut Minority & Small Contractor's Set Aside Program; may participate in administering affirmative action functions for faculty, student, and staff; performs related duties as required.
Bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience in extracting, preparing and analyzing data. All degrees should be from appropriately accredited institutions. Proficiency in spreadsheet software particularly importing and exporting data. Strong oral and written communication skills.
A Master's degree in public administration, human resources management, labor relations or a closely related field or a law degree may be substituted for one (1) additional year of the General Experience. At least three years of experience in preparing affirmative action and equal opportunity analyses is highly preferred.
This position is limited to 19 hours per week.
