Southern seeks a reliable, self-motivated, student-centered individual for the position of Manager of Technology Systems for the Adanti Student Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical operations of the Adanti Student Center. This individual will work with students, faculty, and staff in the Division of Student Affairs to create, develop and maintain administrative and student technology systems within the Student Center. The ideal candidate will contribute to campus information security strategy and University policy and standards. This individual will provide technology support and resources and serve as a primary liaison and collaborative partner with the university community. Additionally, he/she will develop and implement technology initiatives for Division of Student Affairs and other University departments as directed
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years’ technology experience are required. Must have proven ability to plan, develop and implement a broad range of software/hardware and conferencing systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. A master’s degree or extensive experience is preferred. These qualifications may be waived for individuals with appropriate alternate experience.
