Brief Description of Duties/Responsibilities: Seeking a dynamic and collaborative professional to teach a variety of marriage and family therapy courses including: systemic theories, ethical and legal issues, human sexuality, and evidence based models.  Additional responsibilities include supervision in the MFT On-Campus Family Clinic, student advisement and all-university committee work. While a 12 credit teaching load per semester is standard, numerous supports for research and creative activity are available.

Required Qualifications:  A doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field is preferable, but ABD will be considered. Doctorate must be completed within two years of appointment. Candidates should demonstrate evidence of experience as a marriage and family therapist, be an AAMFT Approved Supervisor or eligible and willing to obtain that credential.

Preferred Qualifications:  Evidence of excellence in university level teaching especially graduate level teaching is highly desirable. A demonstrated record of scholarship/creative activity is an asset, since faculty members are expected to engage in meaningful scholarship/creative activity leading to presentations at professional meetings and publications in peer-reviewed journals in the discipline. Experience with on-site clinical services is advantageous and evidence of commitment and service to diverse populations and social justice is fundamental.
