Ordering Business Cards and Letterhead

ordering Your Business cards

Read instructions below before you click on the "order cards" button. Use one of the supported browsers: Firefox, Chrome, or Safari.

  • For your first order, fill out the required fields under Create Account. Click Create Account. After your first order, login with the username and password you created. 
  • Click on the Business Cards folder.
  • Click on the template style that best meets your needs. If you have a two titles or an extra long title, choose the second template.
  • Click Create New. Complete all the required fields. Be sure to be accurate. For example, if you use a middle initial in your name, include it. If you want an honorific such as Dr. in front of your name, indicate it. (You may NOT use Dr. in front of your name and Ph.D. or Ed.D. after your name, as this is redundant. Please select one or the other.)
  • If you would like to include the school in which your department resides, fill in the School or Center field.
  • Click Save.
  • Click View PDF to proof your card before placing the order. You may save the card to your computer or open in Acrobat Reader. Enlarge the view in Acrobat Reader or print a sample to ensure all content is accurate. What you see on the proof is what you will see on your printed card.
  • Select the quantity of cards from the drop down menu. If this is a rush order, select the option from the drop down mention. Click Add to Cart, then Check Out. You may also click Save to return to your order at a later date.
  • Fill out the shipping and billing information. All orders delivered to campus will be routed through the receiving department. To ensure proper deliver, include recipient's name, department/office name, building abbreviation, and office/room number.
  • Fill out your p-card information and continue to follow on-screen directions. P-card information is not stored on the vendor's system for your security.

Your cards will be delivered within 10 working days.

The vendor will follow exactly the layout developed by the Office of Public Affairs. There will be no deviation from this design.

For orders totaling more than $1,000:

You will need to submit a purchase requisition.

  • RUSH SERVICE: 5 day rush service available for an additional $15.00. Cards will be delivered to the receiving department.

About YOUR LETTERHEAD and ENVELOPES

There are two kinds of letterhead/envelope packages that you may order:

  1. The Standard Letterhead/Envelope Package, which is the basic letterhead/envelope without office, departmental, or individual identifications. You may order these online from Staples Advantage. Once you login to Staples Advantage, you will see a drop down menu called "Your Shopping Lists." Click and highlight "SCSU Envelopes and Letterhead" to view all of the items available.

  2. The Departmental Letterhead/Envelope Package is the basic letterhead/envelope, PLUS specific information like department name, phone numbers, and departmental information. If you have questions about whether to order the Standard Letterhead/Envelope Package or the Departmental Letterhead/Envelope Package, check first with your vice president, dean, or chairman.     The vendor for departmental letterheads and envelopes, E & A Enterprises, dba/Northeast Thermography, will follow exactly the layout developed by the office of Public Affairs. There will be no deviation from this design.

How to Order Your Departmental Letterhead/Envelopes

If you are ordering the Standard Letterhead/Envelopes, simply follow the online procedure through Staples Advantage.

If you are ordering Departmental Letterhead/Envelopes, you may email or fax your content to Marylou Conley. The fax number is (203) 392-6597. Include your office or department/school name, your main phone number, and fax number. Include your official mailing address if it differs from the university's mailing address of 501 Crescent Street. You will receive a pdf proof to review for accuracy.

When you are ready to place your order, begin by reviewing the vendor's cost list below. The costs include shipping to campus.

Email your pdf artwork and phone number to the vendor, Northeast Thermography, at orders@nethermography.com. The vendor will call you for your p-card information. The vendor will print and deliver your order to campus. The process should take no more than 10 working days, from start to finish.

• All artwork originates in the Office of Public Affairs.

• All letterhead/envelope packages will be printed by E & A Enterprises dba/Northeast Thermography.

For orders totaling more than $1,000:

You will need to submit a purchase requisition.

WHEN TO ORDER YOUR MATERIAL

Please keep an eye on your inventory. We will place orders with the vendors during the second week of each month. You may generate your paperwork and submit your requests at any time, and, once we receive them, we will do our best to complete your order in a timely fashion.
