Neff Hall is a classic-style residence hall at Southern Connecticut State University, offering a great living environment for freshmen and sophomore students with fewer than 60 credits. Neff Hall residents enjoy convenient access to the Residence Life quad, Connecticut Hall, and the academic buildings across the footbridge. Accommodations in Neff house two or three students per room in double or triple rooms. Room amenities typically include:
- Closets and drawer space
- Beds with mattresses
- Desks and chairs for each resident
- Compact microwave/refrigerator unit
All rooms feature cable television hook-ups and wireless Internet. Each floor has a community bathroom with multiple showers, toilets, and sinks for use by residents of that floor. Floor common area lounges equipped with cable television are often the site of social, academic, and cultural programs. Finally, each floor has a utility/laundry room with a stove/oven and a washer and dryer.
The main lounge of the building provides ample space for residents to relax and watch TV. Residents are able to use the recreation equipment (ex. pool tables, foosball, and ping pong tables) in the hall at no charge by "renting" equipment from the front desk with their student IDs.
