Q. I tried to reset my password through the Forgot Password function, why haven't I received it yet?
When JOBSs sends out a new password to your OWLS email account make sure to check your Junk folder, unfortunately this is where your new password may end up.It could take up to approximately 20 minutes for your OWLS email to receive your new JOBSs password, thus do not request multiple new passwords.
Q. Why does JOBSs load so slowly?
Are you using Internet Explorer? Try using Firefox and the speed should pick right up!
Q. JOBSs is telling me that my username is incorrect, why?
Your username should be your OWLS email account. For example:
Check the spelling of both your email and your password.If you are an alumnus and you no longer have access to your Southern email, please call the Center for Career Services office at (203) 392-6536 to receive further instructions.If you are a new or transfer student, you may not have access to JOBSs yet, you will receive a welcome email from JOBSs indicating your new access soon. If you have any questions please call the Center for Career Services office at (203) 392-6536.
Q. JOBSs is telling me that my MySCSU and/or OWLS username and password combination is incorrect, why?
JOBSs does not use the same username and password combination as your MySCSU or OWLS accounts.If this is your first time logging in please refer to the JOBSs Welcome email sent to you to retrieve your initial password. Once you sign in with your initial password, JOBSs will allow you to reset your password to one of your choice. If you should ever forget your password, you may use the JOBSs Forgot Password function to receive another.
Q. I reset my password through the JOBSs Forgot Password function, but the password they sent to me isn't working, why?
If you have reset your password multiple times, you need to make sure that you are using the most updated password. Passwords generated from JOBSs can take up to 20 minutes to be delivered to your email account.If you have made too many incorrect login attempts JOBSs will ask you to enter a verification code shown on the screen. If you cannot read the verification code shown, you may regenerate the image.
