The Big Event
The Big Event is a campus-wide service initiative in which the Southern Connecticut State University comes together to support the New Haven and surrounding communities. The premise of The Big Event is that one day a year, Southern students band together to provide some type of service or volunteer in the local community. This year, on April 12th hundreds of students, clubs and organizations will volunteer for local organizations, agencies other locations in need of assistance.
To register your club or organization, please visit Collegiate Link, click on The Big Event logo, and complete the registration form for a club or organization.
To register a site, please download this form, complete it, and either email it to Sal Rizza, Associate Director of Student Life, at firstname.lastname@example.org or upload it to the Collegiate Link registration form.
We have a limited number of spaces for students that would like to register individually to participate in The Big Event. If you are interested, please visit Collegiate Link, click on the Big Event logo, and complete the registration form for an individual.
