First and Second Year Student Living Options

Your first year of college is an exciting experience that offers you new opportunities, friendships, and personal growth. Southern residence halls are designed to help you adjust to college, develop independent living skills, and support your academic success.

Living on campus provides unique access to campus events and services designed especially for students. Residence Life staff members are trained to assist you with adjustment to college life and help you access all the resources the campus has to offer. Residence hall staff members provide educational and social programming, assist the hall council, and provide students with personal and academic support.
