Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC)
The Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) is a group of students who are interested in health and wellness issues on campus. Members of SHAC are student advocates who serve as liaisons between SCSU students and Granoff Health Center staff. The committee is comprised of commuter students, residence hall students, representatives from student government, and graduate students.
The committee is instrumental in providing Health Services with information on how to better serve the health needs of students and to assist in planning new programs to meet those needs.
- Make a difference on campus
- Represent students' health care concerns
- Help formulate and develop new programs for health care at SCSU
- Promote health education and disease prevention
