A B.A. General Studies degree can open doors to jobs that require a Bachelor's degree in a variety of fields. For many students, the degree provides them the opportunity for professional growth and promotion within their current employment position. Students who earn a General Studies program can go on to study at the graduate level in programs that do not require a specific undergraduate major.
General Studies majors are encouraged to speak to their academic advisor and the Office of Career and Professional Development to be sure to tailor their program of study to their personal and professional goals.
