Southern’s Minor in Outdoor Recreation is designed to prepare students for professional opportunities in the outdoors. Through the classroom, study abroad, and experiential opportunities, students will develop skills in leadership, programming, instruction and facilitation, and risk management needed for the field and their professional careers.
