Important Dates for Fall 2025 Enrollment
- August 1, 2024: Application Opens
- November 1 – 15, 2024: Application Fee Free Period for First-Year Students (Apply)
- November 2024: Completed applications will be processed on a rolling basis and notified of admission
- December 1, 2024: Direct Nursing Application deadline
- January 2, 2025: Honors Application deadline
- March 1, 2025: Southern Merit Scholarship deadline (SCSU admissions application must be submitted on or before this date for merit consideration)
- August 8, 2025: The last day that new First-Year student applications will be accepted
- August 15, 2025: The last day that new First-Year students can confirm enrollment
- August 26, 2025: The first day of Fall 2025 classes

SCSU’s Early College program enables eligible high school students to enroll in and earn credit in college courses. Students apply and register; teachers can become certified to teach at their high school; and counselors facilitate the process.
