Event Description: Southern Connecticut State University Center of Excellence on Autism Spectrum Disorder will host a conference consisting of 4 panel discussions. The panels will bring together individuals on the spectrum, educators, parents, and professionals with a variety of perspectives to discuss their experience with transitioning to adulthood. Topics to be addressed include: Family Supports focusing around social opportunities in adulthood, workplace obstacles and successes, building and maintaining relationships, and college life beyond the first days.
