What AABS can do for you

The Academy is committed to providing quality information and supports for practicing behavior analysts.  In service of this commitment, the Academy offers a continuum of supports, including on-demand CEUs, live opportunities for interaction and support, customized supports for new or established BCBAs, and a variety of opportunities for ABA based companies.

CEUs

The Academy was created to support high-quality ABA and in line with that goal, we are interested in supporting practicing BCBAs in accessing the most useful content.  Please review our current offerings.

Please also reach out to us for customized CEU experiences.  We are fortunate to have experienced BCBAs in the Academy and will support custom CEU experiences whenever possible.

Ongoing support and supervision

A common challenge for new BCBAs is having the ongoing support after passing the BCBA exam.  Each year can bring new and different challenges that lead to important challenges when starting a new career or advancing an already established career.  We want to support BCBAs in developing and maintaining high-quality services and can help with ongoing supervision in areas such as: advanced assessment and intervention, curriculum development, supervision systems, and organization and structural supports.  Please reach out to us to see how we can support you.

What ABA can do for you

The Academy works with administrators and organizations to improve overall functioning in line with their priorities.  These enhancements can include targeting areas such as initial staff training frameworks and content, professional development models and implementation, curriculum design, supervision and employee satisfaction, among others.

How can the AABS help?

The first step in working with the Academy is to set up a meeting to discuss priorities and goals for the organization.  The Academy can then work to develop and/or support the implementation of already developed supports.  Finally, the Academy will continue to support the organization over time to help ensure ongoing progress and development.

Assessment/Interventions/Systems support

The Academy can support districts and organizations by helping identify and develop systems to help with creation and implementation of various supports for the students and clients.  Please contact us for more information on how we can help your district or organization in efficiently selecting and using relevant resources in support of your students and clients.

What ABA can do for you

Stated simply, ABA is a field focused on understanding learning and using that understanding to help individuals make progress towards their goals.  If you have priorities for yourself or others and are interested in making better progress, ABA can likely help support that progress.

How can behavior analysis help me?

Applied behavior analysis (ABA) focuses on understanding an individual (or group) and others who interact with that person (or group) and their priorities.  With that understanding, ABA can then support progress towards those priorities using principles and practices of ABA to develop individualized supports.

How can the AABS help?

The Academy can help in a variety of ways, such as through sharing information and/or by meeting with you to discuss your situation.  The Academy can also help you identify high-quality ABA services for you or others.

How to identify high-quality ABA providers and supports?

As in any educational, health, or other service field, not all professionals are created equal.  The Academy is interested in supporting high-quality ABA by helping interested individuals identify key characteristics of quality ABA services.  Please explore the Academy website to help understand ABA.

ABA as a field also works in hospitals and other companies but these areas may be less common.
