Chemistry, M.S. - Thesis Track

The Thesis Track of the Master of Science program in Chemistry is a graduate program that offers students the opportunity to complete graduate coursework in the main areas of Chemistry (Organic, Biochemistry, Analytical, Inorganic, Physical and Environmental Chemistry) alongside four (4) courses dedicated to thesis work. A thesis proposal is required in the the second semester of study, while a thesis and thesis defense is required in the final semester of study. The thesis adviser is secured prior to the start of the program, and the student meets with his or her thesis adviser for a total of nine (9) hours per week.
