The Sixth-Year Certificate Program in Educational Leadership is designed to equip educators with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to serve, not only as administrators, but as genuine leaders, in the state of Connecticut's public school system. After successful completion of the program and the CT CAT exam, candidates are eligible for the 092 Connecticut Intermediate Administrator Certification.
The 30-credit program employs a hybrid cohort model, with cohorts meeting for Fall and Spring classes on-campus or at area school districts roughly half the weeks and online the other half of the semester. Summer classes in the program are offered online. Paired classes are scheduled back-to-back on the same evening for the convenience of our students, all of whom are practicing educators.
