Sport Management, B.S.

The major in Sport Management prepares students for positions within all sectors of the sport industry, including professional sport organizations, intercollegiate athletic departments, interscholastic sport, recreational sport, and sport facility management. Coursework includes instruction in sport governance and administration, sport sales and marketing, facility management, sport ethics, and legal aspects of sport. Students gain sport industry experience through internships arranged with professional sports teams, college athletic departments, public and private sport facilities, sport marketing firms, as well as municipal, national, and non-profit sport organizations.
