CAREER ADVISING EVENTS

Completing a degree program and preparing for today's job market requires that students be well prepared, creative, and able to use a variety of programs and services that help them develop the necessary skills. To provide our students with the most up-to-date and comprehensive career development tools, the Center for Career Services offers an array of career planning programs to help  students decide what major to pursue, what career best suits them, and how to begin the all important job search process.

Each year the Academic and Career Advising Center holds a career fair that bring national and regional employers representing all fields to the Southern campus. The fairs foster student and employer interaction while offering students the opportunity to explore various careers, learn about organizations and industries, and apply for full-time, part-time, internship, and cooperative education opportunities.

You will have the opportunity to meet, via live video, employers from different companies. Interviews are conducted from the convenience of your personal space or anywhere with Internet access. As of February 6th, you will be able to view the list of employers that have signed up for the Virtual Career Fair. After your review, you will choose the employers that interest you and pick a time slot to have a virtual interview.
