The SCSU Alumni Association has over 180 scholarships available for Southern students. All currently enrolled full- or part-time undergraduate and graduate students are invited to apply.

Pathways to Academic Excellence (PAcE)
The PAcE scholarships are for prospective students who wish to major in chemistry, biology, computer science, earth science, mathematics, or physics, and have academic promise and financial needs.
New Haven Promise
New Haven Promise is a scholarship and support program created to promote college education as an aspiration for all New Haven Public School (NHPS) students; assist graduating students from NHPS to pursue education after high school; and enhance the growth, stability, and economic development of the City of New Haven. S-STEM ComBiNE
ComBiNE is a collaboration between the Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics departments at Southern Connecticut State University. The project’s objective is to offer equity in talent development by offering 4-year scholarships to admitted students in Computer Science, Data Science, Biology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology. The goal of the program is to recruit academically talented students to pursue an interdisciplinary undergraduate program in computational biology. Learn more about S-STEM ComBiNE.
Competitive SCSU Graduate Fellowships
Each award from Graduate Research Fellowship (GRF) and Graduate Student Graduate Assistantship (GSGA) is in the amount of $12,000 for the academic year. For information, contact the School of Graduate Studies, Research, & Innovation (GSRI).
