SCSU Career Development Fund - Internship Scholarship Fund
There are several notable funds to contribute to at SCSU, we hope you take a moment to consider supporting our Career and Professional Development fund. All donations will help in the career readiness and success of our students, as our goal is to help our students be more competitive and marketable upon graduation! Please consider the following ways you can make an impact in our students’ lives.
Your donation can: (1) Provide support towards helping our students dress for success, as feeling good and looking good are key components to self-confidence and professional success. (2) Continue providing students with professional development and employer engagement opportunities to develop key employability skills that ensure future career success. (3) Provide funding for students pursuing unpaid internships. Research by the National Association of Colleges and Employers shows that paid internships benefit students in their initial post-graduation job search: more job offers, higher starting salaries, and a shorter search.
